Also known as the "pearl of the Adriatic", Dubrovnik has long been a celebrated seaside city, known worldwide for its beauty and fascinating history. Inside the ancient walls, behind an impressive gateway lies winding alleys, terraced restaurants, flowered stairways and magnificent churches that are beautifully maintained.
Located between Mljet and Hvar, Korcula is a unique island with narrow streets leading to ancient churches and squares. Expect to find hidden paths and small coves as you cruise around its shores. Kornati National Park
Trogir is another walled fortress city and a must-visit after the delights of Dubrovnik and Split. Get lost in the maze of alleys opening onto quaint and timeless courtyard restaurants and take a stroll along the lit-up waterfront with market-stalls, street performers and live music.
In spite of witnessing countless invasions from century to century, Hvar is thought to be one of the ten most beautiful islands in the world. Step back in time in the oldest town in Croatia, Stari Grad, on the north side of the island and relish in the ornate Gothic design in the lively party capital, Hvar Town. With crystal clear waters and luscious pine forests to explore, Hvar makes for a delightful stop-off during your charter.
Split is not only an excellent port to begin a charter, but is also an excellent destination to visit. As the main city in Dalmatia, Split is a beautifully preserved Roman city, rich in history and culture.
Some other destinations that you'll be able to cruise to during your charter are Vela Luka, Rogoznica, Sibenik, Kastela, Biograd, Pula, Losinj, Primosten, Mljet, Vis, Rovinj, Brijuni, Baska Voda, Zadar and Lastovo.
Croatia has a superb Mediterranean Climate ensuring that it's generally warm and dry throughout the yachting season. The warmest months are July and August when the air temperature is 25-35°C (77-95°F). Summer sea temperature reaches up into the high 20's °C (low 80's °F).
The "shoulder" seasons of June and September are delightful, with fewer crowds but still excellent weather and warm waters. Average temperatures in the mid 20's °C (70's °F).
